To meet the short delivery times required by the Offshore & Onshore Drilling and Production Industries we have invested in a massive stock of Raw Material.

We stock AISI 4130 Alloy Steel heat treated and tested to exceed the requirements of API-6A, 75K with extra impact tests to qualify it for the most severe services.

Our stock of round bars ranges from 90mm dia to 825mm dia with some larger heat treated blanks up to 1080mm dia.
Our stock of square bars ranges from 9" square to 18" square covering most of the size requirements for API Studded Blocks.

The stock held is generally in excess of 750 tonnes and we can therefor meet urgent delivery times using stock materials.

Obviously, because of the purchasing power created by such large stocks, we are able to obtain very favourable delivery times from our suppliers for other grades of material. We also manufacture equipment in "exotic" materials including Duplex, Super Duplex, F6NM, AISI 410 & AISI 420 Stainless Steels and other conventional steels such as LF-2, F-22, F-52 etc. etc.

We stock AISI 4140 Alloy Steel, heat treated to conform to API 5CT L-80 in most of the popular casing and tubing sizes.
This material is suitable for the manufacture of cross over subs, couplings,
Flow Couplings, Blast Joints etc.etc.



• We are able to saw up to 1000mm diameter steel bars "in house" with this electronically controlled bandsaw.
We carry a large stock of AISI 4145 Alloy Steel, heat treated to conform to API Spec.7 suitable to machine in to Rotary Threaded equipment including cross over subs, circulating subs, drill collar lift subs etc. etc.

All of our stock material is fully traceable with certificates issued by the original steel mills together with heat treatment test reports and full mechanical test reports.

Ours stocks are all subject to full receiving inspection and we have facilities "in house" to perform a variety of non-destructive testing including:- Ultrasonic Examination, Liquid Penentrant Examination, Magnetic Particle Examination and Brinell Surface Hardness Testing.

We have a full range of inspection equipment including:- Optical Comparator, Ultrasonic Examination Equipment, MPI & DPI Equipment, Hardness Testing Equipment as well as a complete range of engineering inspection tools including micrometers, verniers, height gauges and thread gauges etc. etc..
